i'll start this off like a square and play what will be the most watched game of the weekend...
9/13...
ALABAMA -8 at texas a&m (3 nuts)
johnny football and his boys walked out of tuscaloosa with an upset victory last season. they should at least be able to keep it within a TD at home, right? i don't think so. 'bama was in a tough spot, coming off an emotional last second defeat of rival LSU. after spotting the aggies a 20-0 lead, the crimson tide got their shit together to make a game out of it, eventually losing by 5, 29-24. this year, there will be no let down as the crimson tide are coming off their bye week with revenge on their minds and a whole offseason for saban to devise ways to stop manzeill. not that they already hadn't after making in-game adjustments the first time around. also, a&m's defense has regressed. i say 'bama by 2 TDs.
- Crimson Tide 49, Aggies 42 (-3 nuts)
started off looking like a bad bet, then an easy cover, only to get backdoored at the very end.
other ncaa thoughts:
i like watching teddy bridgewater throw but it would be nice if his recievers weren't always open by 5 yards. Blue Whale says FSU's jameis winston is the new quarterblack to watch. i will.
speaking of FSU, and watching...
adding:
wisconsin at ARIZONA ST -5.5 (2 nuts)
- badgers 30, sun devils 32 (-2 nuts)
10/10...
rutgers at louisville OVER 56 (2 nuts)
semi degenerate, semi value play.
2013 NCAA record through 10/9: 0-2 (-5 nuts)

College Bowl Picks Part Two
known associate:
1.1.13
hny bitch.
NORTHWESTERN -1 vs miss st at jac, fl (3 nuts)
the 9-3 wildcats could've been in a better bowl, blowing 4h quarter leads in all 3 losses. they'll be amply motivated for their first bowl win since 1948.
more in the morn if my ass wakes up.
lean wolverines, under and under in capital one bowl (aka citrus bowl) for the other morn games.
nwu vs msu UNDER 55 (1 nut)
- wildcats 34 bulldogs 20. +4 nuts.
tease PURDUE +24.5/OVER 62 vs oklahoma st at cotton bowl (1 nut)
- boilermakers 14 cowboys 58. -1 nut. not close.

jadeveon clowney, überbeast, right after bullcaca officials "misread" a measurement, giving michigan the ball on downs:
tease WISCONSIN +11/UNDER 54.5 vs stanford at rose bowl (1 nut)
wisc vs stan UNDER 23.5 first half (2 nuts)
- badgers 14 cardinal 17 (14-20 final). -1 nut.
tease hit. shouldn't have pussed out of the 2h under chase.
niu vs fsu UNDER 28.5 first half at orange bowl (1 nut)
- huskies 3 seminoles 14 (10-31 final). +1 nut.
5-5, +1 nut to start off the year.
1.2
LOUISVILLE +14.5 vs florida at superdome (1 nut)
gators have superior players but the cardinals have the best individual talent in teddy bridgewater. sprinkled a tiny bit on first half +7.5 over parlay.
lou vs fla UNDER 24.5 second half (1 nut)
- cardinals 33 gators 23 (9-13 second half). +2 nuts.
teddy bridgewater is my latest quarterblack mancrush.
1.3
ksu vs ou UNDER 38 first half at glendale, az (2 nuts)
and Blue Whale won't like this but...
KANSAS STATE +9 vs oregon (1 nut)
- wildcats 17 ducks 35 (10-22 first half). +1 nut.
cats fucked it up with poor clock management at the end of the 1st half. actually, they probably fucked up from the get by kicking it to de'anthony thomas to start the game. smh.
1.4
texas a&m vs OKLAHOMA +3.5 at cowboys stadium (1 nut)
tease OU +10.5/over 66 (1 nut)
- aggies 41 sooners 13. -2 nuts.

1.5
pittsburgh vs mississippi UNDER 27 second half at birmingham, al (1 nut)
- panthers 7 rebels 14 (17-38 final). +1 nut.
i'll be playing this bowl under system next season.
1.6
arkansas st vs KENT ST +3 a mobile, al (1 nut)
- red wolves 17 golden flashes 13. - 1 nut.
1.7
ALABAMA -9.5 vs notre dame at miami, fl (3 nuts)
tease ALABAMA -2.5/OVER 33.5 (1 nut)
tide pull away in the second half (at the latest).
- crimson tide 42 fighting irish 14. +4 nuts.
sabanism defeats catholicism.
young yeldon's been an impact player from game one but fellow frosh amari cooper was even more impressive in this game. let's hope next year's "title" game brings the tide a more formidable opponent. it should be the ducks but don't count out the aggies, buckeyes or even the cardinals (plural) and my nig teddy bridgewater.

College Bowl Picks Part One
known associate:
starting this off with a degenerate special play for the div III championship!
12.14
st. thomas vs MOUNT UNION -18.5 at salem, va (1 nut)
- tommies 10 purple raiders 28. -1 nut.
degenerate special indeed. and why the fuck was the new mexico bowl at 10am, on a saturday, with only one other bowl game scheduled?
back later this week with more plays...
12.21
ball state vs central florida OVER 59.5 (1 nut)
tease BALL ST +14.5/OVER 52.5 (1 nut)
0-2, -2 nuts.
12.26
CENTRAL MICHIGAN +7 vs western kentucky at detroit (1 nut)
chippewas finished the season stronger and are playing in their home state.
- chippewas 24 hilltoppers 21. +1 nut.
also gonna play this under system in spots. long layoffs lead to rusty offenses while the second half chase provides decent insurance. just small for today's matchup though.
- 2nd half under hit.
12.27
lean under for noon. will take 2h if it's a play.
cincinnati vs DUKE +10 at charlotte (3 nuts)
the pass-happy blue devils are playing their first bowl game in 17 years, led by a 5th year head coach and redshirt senior QB. the bearcats are playing their 4th bowl game in 5 years; without their head coach. they've also surrendered 502 yards per game to the only 2 decent passing teams they've faced this season (syracuse and lousville). cincy is more talented but all other signs point to a motivated duke team pulling off an upset in their home state. these ladies ain't helping though:
lean over for the evening but damn that total is awfully high.
- bearcats 48 blue devils 34. -3 nuts.
this really was the worst beat ever. devils were at the cats 5 with 1:30 to go in a tie game yet somehow lose... by 14! shit like this can't be rigged.
12.28
ohio vs LA MONROE -7 at shreveport, la (1 nut)
the bobcats don't match up well with the warhawks on either side of the ball; lacking both the vertical threat to expose ULM's shaky secondary and the requisite speed in their own defensive backfield to slow down kolton browning and his deep receiving corps. warhawks are also playing in their first bowl game, ever, and in their home state. weather is a concern but i'm posting this now in case i sleep through kickoff. might add a nut in the morn if i don't.
- bobcats 45 warhawks 14. -1 nut.
my match up analysis was on point... except for the opposite teams. no idea how the warhawks beat arkansas and hung with auburn and baylor.
lean tech, two times.
rutgers vs VIRGINIA TECH PK at orlando, fl (1 nut)
taking beamer and his bowl experienced boys over a rutgers team that just choked away it's chance at school history (and a bcs bowl).
- scarlet knights 10 hokies 13. +1 nut.
i thought this bet was dead after rutgers' fluke (and only) td started the scoring. logan thomas isn't an nfl qb.
minnesota vs TEXAS TECH -13 at houston, tx (1 nut)
fade it.
- golden gophers 31 red raiders 34. -1 nut.
told you.
12.29
west virginia vs SYRACUSE +4 at yankee stadium (2 nuts)
- mountaineers 14 orange 38. +2 nuts.
wvu vs syr UNDER 35 first half (1 nut)
doubt geno smith and his boys want to play in the snow (or wintry mix).
- mountaineers 7 orange 12. +1 nut.
tease ARIZONA STATE -6.5/OVER 47.5 vs navy at at&t park (1 nut)
navy is outmanned and under-motivated (after their big win vs army).
lean beavers and spartans.
- midshipmen 28 sun devils 62. +1 nut
12.31
georgia tech vs usc UNDER 31.5 first half at windy el paso, tx (1 nut)
- yellowjackets 7 trojans 7 (7-21 final). +1 nut

College Football Week 3 Picks: Lindsay Myhre Edition
his chin looks like coed puss.
known associate:
Washington State at UNLV +8.5 (1 nut)
cougars aren't good enough to be laying more than a TD on the road. plus it's on espn and home dogs usually fare well under the bright lights.
- cougars 35 rebels 27. +1 nut.
it took a few tries but the rebels finally slithered through the backdoor late. then mike leach's horrid clock management afforded them a try for a miracle tie at the very end. a degenerate play but a decent bet nonetheless.
florida at TENNESSEE -2.5 (4 nuts)
gators are too banged up to win a second straight game in a hostile environment. tyler bray and his playmaking wr duo headline a clearly superior vols offense while 6'6", 380lb (!) nose tackle daniel mccullers anchors an improving defense under first year dc (and saban disciple) sal sunseri.
- gators 37 volunteers 20. -4 nuts.
the vols were in control until the floodgates opened late in the 3rd quarter. cordarrelle patterson is a poor man's julio jones. justin hunter is a poor man's aj green. and the vols, as a whole, are a poor man's SEC powerhouse.
alabama at arkansas UNDER 53 (1 nut)
expecting ball control offense on both sides.
- crimson tide 52 razorbacks 0. +1 nut.
arkansas was considered a national title contender 3 weeks ago but has since been exposed, not only as a team but, as a program. that cheating bastard petrino done fucked 'em up.
cal at ohio state OVER 55 (1 nut)
this buckeye offense looks much improved under urban meyer, and they're only gettin better from here on out. the golden bears lost plenty on D but still have young beast keenan allen on O.
- golden bears 28 buckeyes 35. +1 nut.
ea$y, even with points left on the field. (cal's 3 missed FGs and 1 long TD called back due to an unnecessary illegal block.) maynard's crap is tolerable because without him there would be no keenan but i'm starting to think tedford needs to go. new blood for the new facilities. brendan bigelow impressed.
houston at ucla OVER 76 (2 nuts)
blue whale already sayin.
- cougars 6 bruins 37. -2 nuts. bad bet.
lean trees power over trojans finesse. dunno if i'll nut up though.
btw, we'll be using Las Vegas Hilton lines from here on.
notre dame at MICHIGAN ST -5.5 (1 nut)
spartans veteran D over a young qb making his first start on the road. le'veon got some twinkle toes for a big back.
- irish 20 spartans 3. -1 nut. bad bet.
known associate week 3 results: 3-3. -4 nuts.
i need to manage my nuts more wisely. and i shoulda played the trees. trojans couldn't even wait until the mnc game to get outmuscled. no team looks unstoppable at this point. not even the tide.
blue whale:
let us keep it PAC 12
USC Trojans -9 at Palo Alto Cardinals (3 nuts)
Three seasons in a row, Luck had his way with the Trojans. Finally he is gone and the Trojans have a shot of beating the Cardinals and well. Never mind the fact that they have to travel cross country to Palo Alto, fatigue is not an option for three things are on Coach Kiffin's mind: revenge, BCS and running up the score to stay up in the rankings. That Trojan defense is young and suspect, but i think the USC offense is good, er great, enough to blow this game wide open. I might make a small play on the over but no nuts on it.
- Trojans 14 Cardinals 21. wow the Trojan's BCS bowl hopes have been crushed by Stepfan Taylor who to me is as vanilla as a colored college running back can get.
The Holy War BYU Cougars -3.5 at Utah Utes (3 nuts)
Utes quarterback Jordan Wynn was being thought as a contender just like other Pac 12 qbs Barkley and Price. Now that he is gone for the season and he was an important part of the offense. Usually these match ups are low scoring and play close to the vest. Both defenses are stout, but without Wynn, The Utes lost to a lowly Utah St last week in overtime.
- Cougars 21 Utes 24. cougars missed 2 ...2! field goals that might have helped me out here... but oh know I forgot about the hook.
Houston University Cougars at UCLA Bruins over 76 (3 nuts)
whoa that LA Tech pick was the steal, it's true that the Cougars are going through a transition right now in offensive coordinator. My bet is going towards that they get it going after the second week. Especially against a surging UCLA team that is on fire right now and can be scored on. I do expect a high scoring affair with point contributions coming from both sides.
- Cougars 6 Bruins 37 I was right about the bruins. I did not take into account that Houston would sit down this game. I am 0 and 3...I need to go back to school.

Collits Football 2011 Week 6
....................................................... 10.6.11 .......................................................
blue whale:
California Golden Bears at Oregon Ducks under 66 total
I don't really pay attention to the Pac 12 division as most of my action goes towards the SEC and Big 10 conferences. The double digit spread scares me but it is not farfetched that the Ducks can easily blow the Bears out the water. Oregon relies heavily on their run game led by LaMichael James and Kenjon Barner. On the flipside Cal has a stout run denfense but their passing defense ranks 80 in the country. Ducks QB Darron Thomas should be able to throw for 250 yds while beating Cal with his legs as well. Oregon defense isn't the same as last years and can give up copious amounts of points, well enough to let Cal score 24. Oregon will take care of the rest enough to stay under the total. Plus 91% of the concensus is on the over. tre nuts.
- ducks 43 bears 15. +3 nuts. oregon run game proper
friday's lean Boise State Broncos
known associate:
cal at oregon OVER 66. 1 nut.
i'm posted with the squares today. the bears can't contain the duck "blur" offense unless they fake injuries and their offense is much improved.
- cal went scoreless in the 2nd half; turning it over on downs twice near the endzone. frustrating loss but i wouldn't necessarily call it a bad beat. bears got spanked. ducks lose too. -1 nut.
....................................................... 10.7.11 .......................................................
blue whale:
Boise State University Broncos at Fresno State Bulldogs over 58.5 total
Its the return of the Moore and Martin show under college primetime lights. Broncos should score high on the Bulldog as both secondary defensive players Phillip Thomas and Derron Smith are injured. Broncos top corner back Jerrell Gavins is out for the year as well. Going with the 86%. Bulldogs will not get shut out at home maybe good for 24 points. Broncos good For 41. 2 nuts
- broncos 57 bulldogs 7. +2 nuts. Doug Martin fell off my map. Lattimore, Dyer and then James...oh and that stable they got at Wisky
known associate:
boise state team total OVER 40.5. 1 nut.
i don't know much about fresno state but i am familiar with the broncos' prolific offense. i also know, the initial bcs rankings are just around the corner and wisky just leapfrogged bsu in the polls. translation: look for the broncos to win with style points on national tv.
- broncos had 37 points by halftime. +1 nut.
....................................................... 10.8.11 .......................................................
known associate:
apparently, this is what happens when my friday night isn't spent drankin with the folkers...
ohio state at NEBRASKA -10.5. 2 nuts.
last week, the cornhuskers got butt-rammed by the badgers. this week, they'll power (bottom) their way past THE sorriest ohio state team in a minute.
- buckeyes 27 huskers 34. not THE ohio state team i expected to see but they still lost. fuck them, in the butt. -2 nuts.
illinois at INDIANA +14. 2 nuts.
hoosiers fresh off a QB switch getting two touchdowns at home vs an illini team just off an emotional win, playing its first road game.
- illini 41 football hoosiers 20. almost lucked into a backdoor push. -2 nuts.
texas a&m at TEXAS TECH +9.5. 2 nuts.
take the points in this shootout. the red raiders might even win this straight up.
- aggies 45 red raiders 40. tech might've won if a&m hadn't blocked a FG attempt and returned it for a TD. +2 nuts.
east carolina at HOUSTON -11. 1 nut.
doubt ecu's D can hang with case keenum and co.
- pirates 3 cougars 56. ea$y. +1 nut.
auburn at ARKANSAS -10. 1 nut.
tyler wilson on the come up.
- tigers 14 razorbacks 38. +1 nut.
OKLAHOMA -10.5 vs texas. 1 nut.
neutral site, 9am game. wake, bake, and watch the sooners smoke the horns. or win by 11, at least.
- sooners 55 longhorns 17. ea$y. +1 nut.

(the one on the right decent)

didnt have time to do any research but off the bat i like:
so far....
Louisville at University of North Carolina -13.5
- louis 7 UNC 14. -2 nuts. huh?!?!
Maryland at Georgia Tech over 63.6 total
- Maryland 16 GT 21 t 38. -2 nuts. what happened to the triple offense vs g techs boast that they are gonna score on every possession?
Illinois -14 at Indiana (fade this)
- illini 41 hoosiers 20. +2 nuts. funny when i said fade this pick..what a looser.
each play is 2 nuts
came through the weekend with a lukewarm winning streak thinking i was bad. Aesop's fable: punks jump up to get beat down
i'll come through with afternoon games..
2 nuts for each...
Arizona -2 at Oregon State
- wildcats 27 beavers 37. -2 nuts.
Kansas at Oklahoma State under 74.5
- jayhawks 28 cowboys 70. -2 nuts. i knew Ok State's offense was potent but good God. Weeden and his stable of playmakers never let up. Justin Blackmon is on my watchlist along with South Carolina wr Alshon Jeffery, Cal wr Keenan Allen and Oregons Da'Anthony Thomas who is Straight Outta Compton.

-1 nut.

+1 nut.

apparently, this is what happens when my friday night isn't spent drankin with the folkers...
ohio state at NEBRASKA -10.5. 2 nuts.
last week, the cornhuskers got butt-rammed by the badgers. this week, they'll power (bottom) their way past THE sorriest ohio state team in a minute.
+2 nuts.
east carolina at HOUSTON -11. 1 nut.

- pirates 3 cougars 56. ea$y. +1 nut.

Illinois -14 at Indiana (fade this)
- illini 41 hoosiers 20. +2 nuts. funny when i said fade this pick..what a looser.

Collits Football 2011 One
gettin an early start on college this year. the majority of picks will probably come from our newest associate, Blue Whale.
9.15.11
Blue Whale says:
LES MILES -3 vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville 3 nuts.
Sprinkle 1 nut on UNDER 50 total.
No write up......feeeeeel.
- result: LSU 19 Miss St 6. win x2 = 4 nuts.

known associate thinks:
LSU is the better team but they're a bit overvalued at the moment. their passing offense was iffy (jarret lee, 10 for 22) while their defense was primarily responsible for driving up the score in their big season opening win vs the ducks. if their speedy, ball-hawking D can set up a few easy scores, the tigers should win by double digits. if not, i think the bulldogs will control the ball with physicality and be in position to win this game outright, perpetuating the ESPN thursday night home dog trend.
i'm laying off a side entirely but will be sprinkling a bit of cash on the under 50.5. no nuts though... this season, we're using current hilton sportsbook lines for blog pick purposes and i missed out on 50.
9.16.11
Blue Whale:
Kellen Moore n 'Nem at Toledo 61.0 total Over.
One high powered offense one pretty good offense. Garbage time points. Boise Stare should be up by 4 Tds by the third quarter even without Doug Martin. Coach Peterson has a knack for pulling out his starters when the game is out of hand. Five Nuts.
Boise State came into Hotlanta and defeated a declining Georgia program 35-21. Nonetheless it was still exceptional Bronco football. Last week Toledo came into THEE Ohio State University's house and messed around almost coming out as the straight up winner. Now they have to travel to Idaho on a short week to face a Boise State team that had two weeks preparation. That said Boise State Broncos -20. TWO Nuts though.
- result: bsu 40 toledo 15. 1-1. -3 nuts net.
the over was a bad beat. by known associate's count, there were 3 missed extra point attempts, 1 failed 2 point conversion and 2 turnovers in the redzone; not counting the times the broncos turned the ball over on downs due to lack of faith in their kicker.
9.17.11
NYT:
Buffalo @ Ball St. -4.5: 2 nuts
It's only appropriate that I wager nuts on school named Ball State.
known associate:
The U -2.5 vs the ohio state university. 1 nut.
party time in coral gables as long as jacory harris doesn't shit the bed in his first game back.
- slurricanes 24 suckeyes 6. +1 nut.
may have a play on the stanford-zona game pending the injury report.

College Bowl Plays
i have time to do some college football capping during this holiday break so i might as well try and win some cash. tail if you wish. i actually started last night with the poinsetta bowl and i'll include it for tracking, since i won and all. i'm guessing i'll have a play for about 3/4 of the bowl games. billy rubin and not your type may or may not post plays of their own.

the mythical national championship game (also known as the BCS National Championship) isn't until january 10th. at this point, i can't decide between tits or ass.
